Hello All,
We are truly looking forward to a wonderful weekend! There are just a few things we would like to remind you about before you arrive.
Due to the recent outbreak of Vesicular Stomatitis (VS) in Southern California, the following requirements have been issued from USEF for all competitions in VS-affected states (ie, CA):
- Health Certificate
- Issued within 2-5 days of arrival with the following statement included. “I have examined the animal(s) represented on this certificate of veterinary inspection and have found no clinical signs of vesicular stomatitis, and they have not originaled from a premises under quarantine for vesicular stomatitis.”
- Onsite Veterinary Examination
- Any horse exhibiting lesions or a temperature of 101.5 degrees or higher will not be allowed entry to the premises along with the rest of the horses on that trailer.
- Temperature Logs
- All horses will be observed throughout the duration of the show and checked twice daily for temperatures.
Additional Information:
Ride Times, Stabling Information, and Entry Status are all available on StartboxScoring.com. Please take a minute to double-check that all of your releases are signed before coming. If you are missing signatures, you can send them to me digitally or sign them when you arrive (Digital is preferred). The link below is for the entry form from the USEA website with the release forms (there are 2). You can either sign them, scan them, and email them back to me; digitally sign them and email them back to me; or print, sign, and bring paper copies with you to the show.
For competitors showing “Owed” amounts that do not also have “Open Check” written in their Entry Status, you can Venmo @Kenneth-Sexton-1 and email me a copy of the confirmation email or bring check/cash with you to the show.
Anyone wishing to participate in our Schooling Rounds, please use the following links to sign up:
We ask that everyone please be patient upon check-in on Thursday. With all of the paperwork, the line may get backed up. Please allow time in your schedule to make sure you are not rushed due to a line at the property entrance. We are all doing our part to keep everyone safe so that we can enjoy what we love! HINT: Bringing signed releases with you will speed up the check-in process.
Thank you for your support of the Shepherd Ranch Pony Club Horse Trials! As always, if you have any questions, please contact me at this email address or by text.
See you all soon!
